The Midway Bonsai Society (MBS) is a non-profit organisation which promotes the art of Bonsai and has as its goal to further members' knowledge and techniques in the art of Bonsai and associated arts.

The general membership is a strong following of bonsai enthusiasts who meet the third Saturday of every month to enjoy a variety of programs. MBS offers year round activities for anyone who appreciates the art of bonsai, regardless of experience. If interested in bonsai, joining MBS opens a world of opportunities.

Bonsai is a rewarding and fulfilling pursuit that can provide many years of artistic expression, a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, camaraderie with other practitioners and can teach patience, love of nature and calmness of mind.

We have a wealth of experience with some senior growers having started in the early 1980s.

We are located in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa and meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
